Question: How do ASMR content creators create their account on Featuredup and invite followers to submit video requests?
Answer: Head over to the Featuredup.com main page to create your profile. Once you sign up and login, you will see your profile link (example: Featuredup.com/yourname) on the home page. Share this link on your social media channels to invite your followers to submit their video requests for you on Featuredup.

Question: Is Featuredup free to use and are there any upfront charges for content creators?
Answer: Featuredup is free to use for content creators. There is no upfront cost for using the platform. However, when a content creator's followers submit paid video requests on the platform, then Featuredup retains 20% as commission, while creators earn 80% of the amount.

Question: Do followers need to pay in order to submit a video request?
Answer: Yes, followers need to pay to submit a video request. The amount they pay will be set by the content creator.

Question: How do users pay on Featuredup?
Answer: Featuredup uses PayPal to accept payments from users.

Question: How does a content creator come to know that they have received a video request from a follower on their Featuredup account?
Answer: Featuredup will send an email notification to the content creator once a day if they have any video requests awaiting their attention. Featuredup will neither spam a content creator's inbox with unnecessary notifications nor send multiple email notifications per day.

Question: How does a follower come to know when a content creator has created a video and responded to their request on Featuredup?
Answer: When a content creator responds to a request on the platform, Featuredup will send an email notification to the follower on the email they provided. The email contains the content creator's response and a link to the video.

Question: When is the payment transferred to a content creator's PayPal account?
Answer: Featuredup will transfer the payment amount to a content creator's PayPal account on a monthly basis for all the video requests to which they have responded in a given month. In the first week of each month, Featuredup will send a lumpsum transfer of all your payments received for the past month after deducting a 20% platform commission.

Question: If a follower submits a video request, is the content creator obligated to create a video and respod to the follower?
Answer: Yes, a content creator must create a video and respond to every video request since the follower has made a payment to receive a video - there are exceptions, though (read the next question). We encourage all creators to respond to each video request in a reasonable amount of time (i.e. ideally within 1-2 weeks). This is vital for creating good experience and trust with the community interacting on Featuredup.com.

Question: In which scenario is a content creator not obligated to create a video and respond to a follower's request?
Answer: Although, content creators must create a video and respond to every request they receive, there are exceptions to this rule. If a content creator receives a video request they deem as inappropriate or irrelevant, then they may choose not to respond to that request. In this scenario, a content creator must contact the Featuredup support team at info@featuredup.com. The support team will then contact the follower for a possible refund or may request the follower to modify the video request.

Question: Is there an expectation on how quickly a content creator needs to respond to a video request?
Answer: Content creators are encouraged to answer every video request within 1-2 weeks of receiving it. However, we understand that it may take longer depending on a content creator's schedule. Responding quickly creates a good impression and a high possibility on repeat requests.

Question: What happens if a content creator is unresponsive and cannot be reached especially if Featuredup support team is trying to contact them?
Answer: There are a few important scenarios when the Featuredup support team will reach out to a content creator: this may include asking the content creator to respond to pending video requests they received or other important account related updates. The support team will try to establish contact via email repeatedly over a period of 4 - 6 weeks. If the content creator remains unresponsive (which includes not responding to any of the emails or not responding to paid video requests they received), then in that case the support team will deactivate the content creator's account temporarily until the content creator is responsvie again. Deactivation is necessary in this case so that the content creator does not continue to receive paid video requests on the platform that go unanswered and potentially result in user complaints or refunds.

Question: Are payments earned through Featuredup taxable?
Answer: Income earned on Featuredup may be taxable depending upon your state and federal tax laws.
